ANKARA STYLES YOU NEED RIGHT NOW

By Madivas Team

Hey Lovelies

I’ve never been more in love with the Ankara fabric, those days when we used to limit ourselves to blouses an skirts are long gone. With the emergence of new designers and creative thinkers the Ankara has been re-branded to suit our daily need. Now we can wear the Ankara anywhere we choose to because there are just too many styles that we can create from this fabulous print.

The African print is now very famous so much so that people decide to use the designs on the print to create patterns on other fabrics like silk and chiffon. The African print because of its vibrant colors and patterns has worn the heart of many all over the world and as an African because this fabric is synonymous to our culture, am beyond proud at this achievements all thanks to innovative, creative and well traveled designers.

The emerging Ankara style from different fashion houses have made it possible for other old and up coming fashion houses to sit up and get creative. Some are spontaneous and others take their time but at the end of the day no one is sitting around anymore, every fashion and style house is gearing up to showcase new ideas, designs and cuts that would suit the emerging market.

Thankfully the celebrities are also playing a huge part in promoting this fabric as an everyday wear. Now we see women (like myself) wearing gorgeous designs made from the print everywhere, work included.

Because I am so in love with this fabric, I’ve decided to show you some of the designs that have inspired me this week. This designs would make you fall in love with the Ankara print ten times over so scroll down and be inspired.
