At least one person is dead this evening after gunfire erupted at a community pool in an apartment complex in Houston, Texas. Police are still investigating the motive for the shooting, but as of now, it seems that the incident occurred after a verbal dispute among pool guests turned physical.
The shooting occurred around 6:45 pm ET at the Napoleon Square Apartments on the 6000 block of Elm Street in Houston. When police arrived on the scene, one adult male was lying on the ground deceased. Three other people were apparently caught in the crossfire.
Those people, including a four year old child, were taken to an area hospital where they are expected to fully recover from their wounds.
