Rick Ross has avoided serious jail time.

The rapper just accepted a generous plea deal stemming from his 2015 kidnapping and assault case. After pleading no contest to misdemeanor kidnapping and assault charges and guilty to pointing an armed weapon at his housekeeper, Ross and his bodyguard, Nadrian Lateef James, agreed to serve five years of probation.

Hip Hop My Way reports:

During the probationary period, the two are forbidden to drink, use drugs, or own firearms. In addition, they must attend anger management classes and are not allowed to contact the victims.
