I’m So Blessed
A devil’s promoter, as proven in her lifestyle, is on the move right now to promote her very own After School Satan Club in Seattle. The devil’s advocate is named Lilith Starr, the founder of Satanic Temple of Seattle, and she is zealous to counter every grade school Christianity.
Starr, born in 1972, from the wilderness of Alaska and north California, names herself as “The Happy Satanist”. The title may give goosebumps but it is real. She has a Bachelor’s degree in English, with honors, from Harvard and a masters in Journalism in Stanford.
The movement that Starr started initially plans to launch numerous After School Satan Clubs all over the country such as Atlanta, Detroit, Los Angeles, Portland, Washington, and many more. Seeking district approval, she plans to start their first meeting before Halloween.
During Starr’s appeal, it happened that only the district of The Los Angeles Unified School District denied their application. As shown in their statement, they do “not meet the minimum requirement of having the school’s approval and, therefore, will not be offered at the school.”
It may seem that Christians won but the battle is not over yet. A 2001 high court ruling in a civil case was brought during a government-operated “limited public forum” which gave the satanic movement the permission to promote during after-class hours and it’s open for all students, Christians or not.
This Satanist movement by Starr is now supported by many skeptics which were gained through public talks that she attended. Though people view this movement as an activist movement, it cannot be denied that blasphemy is the basis of their worship and culture.
Starr, before being a Satanist advocate battled depression alone, losing her job and family. This calls for Christians to respond to Jesus’ great commission, to make disciples, as written in Matthew 28:19-20. If someone had shared the Gospel to Starr in the past, this would have been a different story.
19 “Therefore go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, 20 and teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you. And surely I am with you always, to the very end of the age.”
